Mix and marinade for full complex flavor Deep Fry!

You can cook it however you like (oven, bbq, air fry etc). My mom likes to deep fry it
Best eaten with sticky rice or steamed rice and a side of pepper dip. This recipe is actually much more flavorful eaten cold. That’s way it’s great for packing when you’re going on a road trip or flying.  Just don’t forget to pack rice 🙂
Delicious!ENJOY!

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork loin/tenderloin (cut into strips)
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder (5g)
  • 2 Tbsp fish sauce (40g)
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil (24g)
  • 1 Tbsp sugar (15g)
  • 2 tsp ground white pepper (4g)
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper (2g)
  • 1 Tbsp Kwong Hung Seng Sauce (Dark Sweet Soy Sauce) (18g)
  • 1 Tbsp hoisin sauce (24g)
  • 1 Tbsp Maggi seasoning sauce (16g)
  • 2 tsp chicken boullion powder (4g)
  • 2 Tbsp oyster sauce (48g)
  • 1/4 cup whole milk (64)
  • chili flakes for extra spice (Optional)
  • Canola/vegetable oil to fry

Instructions

  • Slice the pork tenderloin into 3 inch strips. Add in all the seasonings and milk. Mix for a good 1 minute with your hands. Let it sit in room temp for about 4 hrs or in the fridge overnight to fully marinade it completely. My mom likes to marinade it at room temp for 4 hrs and then fry it. It's up to you though. If you do put it in the fridge, I recommend letting it come to room temp before frying.
  • In a pan, add in enough oil to fry. Heat to about 350'F-375'F and let it fry until it's fully cooked and has some golden coloring to it (about 5-8minutes or so depending on how thick you cut the pork). Strain and let it cool before eating. Enjoy it with sticky rice, steamed rice and your choice of pepper dip.
