Nyob Zoo!
Here’s my Uncle’s all time favorite stir to make: Breakfast Sausage Stir Fry. This dish is something he’s been making ever since I was a kid and now he makes it for his kids and they love it. I still love this stir fry till this day as well. It’s so simple to make, doesn’t take a lot of ingredients, and full of flavor. It’s best eaten with rice. This stir fry is also great with kielbasa and hot dogs! So give it a try! Happy cooking!
Main Ingredients
Breakfast Sausage: Growing up, my mom would buy the big pack of breakfast sausage links from Costco. Now, Costco discontinued those breakfast sausages links, so get any of your favorites at you local grocery store. Cut them into bite size pieces.
The seasonings: You’ll need fish sauce, Golden mountain seasoning sauce, oyster sauce, sweet dark soy sauce, and Sriracha.
The vegetables: This stir fry only gets sliced onions, cilantro, and green onions. Simple and sweet. You can however, add some sliced tomatoes too.
Saute!

Enjoy with rice!
You can also fry an egg to put on top too if you feel like it 🙂
Enjoy!

Breakfast Sausage Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs breakfast sausage links (cut into bite size pieces)
- 1 whole onion (sliced)
- 1/3 cup green onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup cilantro (chopped)
- 2 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sweet dark soy sauce (Kwong Hung Seng brand)
- 1 tsp golden mountain seasoning sauce
- 2 tsp Sriracha (or more if you like)
- Sliced chili peppers (optional)
Instructions
- Mix all the seasonings together in a bowl and set aside. In a good nonstick pan, add in the sliced breakfast sausage links. Cook on high heat until it starts to brown and cooked all the way through (about 8 minutes or more). Stir occasionally for even cooking. Once brown and cooked, add in the sliced onion. Stir and cook until the onions are just tender. Then add in the sauces and cook for 30 secs. Then add in the chopped cilantro and green onions. Stir and cook for 15 secs to wilt the greens and then turn off the heat. Taste and adjust as needed. Serve over fresh rice and enjoy! You can also fry an egg to put on top too!
