Main Ingredients
Shrimp, cilantro, green onions, onions, lemongrass, garlic, chili peppers, and oyster sauce. Yes! It’s that simple
Shrimp: Use peeled & and deveined shrimp for easier consumption! Stir fry and enjoy with rice! So simple! It only takes 4-5 minutes to cook

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs shrimp (peeled & and deveined)
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 4 garlic (minced)
- 1 lemongrass (smashed)
- 1/2 cup cilantro (chopped)
- 1/2 cup green onions (chopped)
- 1 small onion (sliced)
- 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 2-3 chili pepper (chopped) (optional if you want spice)
- Optional items you can add: Thai basil, black pepper, and Maggi Seasoning sauce.
Instructions
- In a nonstick pan, add in 2 tbsp of oil. Add in the minced garlic and smashed lemongrass to the oil and let it sweat and release its oil on medium heat. Then add in the sliced onions. Cook for 30 seconds or so. Make sure not to burn the garlic. Then add in the shrimp and bump up the heat to high (you want some browning to the shrimp). Let it sit for 1 minutes or so before stirring to get some char on the shrimp. Then add in the oyster sauce and stir/cook the shrimp for another 2-3 minutes or until it has fully cooked. Turn off the heat and add in the herbs and pepper. Stir just to wilt the herbs. Taste and adjust for seasonings. My grandma likes it more on the neutral taste so she doesn't add salt. If you want, you can. Eat with rice and enjoy. Happy cooking! 🙂
