Nyob Zoo! Hello!

Nyob Zoo! Hello!

It's Cindy Her!

Nyob Zoo! My Name is Cindy Her. I’m a full time Pastry Chef in the Pacific Northwest and creator, recipe developer, and video producer for C.HerCreations (C.HawjCreations), a digital platform dedicated to Hmong food and storytelling. I specifically focus on Hmong food I grew up eating but I also venture into other South East Asian food as well. As a second generation Hmong American woman, my goal is to teach you what Hmong people love to eat, what we cook, how we cook it, how it has evolved, and how we enjoy it. So welcome to my food blog! I want you to learn a little bit more about the Hmong food culture and I hope you all stay tuned on this culinary adventure with me.

What’s good

SIMPLY ELEGANT ✨ Moob Moos Pheeb outfits will alw SIMPLY ELEGANT ✨

Moob Moos Pheeb outfits will always be my favorite. Simply elegant and striking 💖

Besides our food, traditional Hmong clothing has long been one of the most meaningful ways we have preserved and expressed our cultural identity through intricate embroidery, the vibrant colors, and distinct designs and styles. It’s been our way of storytelling. Seeing some of the strongest & most beautiful ladies in my life dressed up in Moob Moos Pheeb outfits yesterday for Mother’s Day felt special. The chicken comb hat was striking from the side I wanted to share. These hats were all handmade by my grandma and aunty in Thailand. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it 💖

🫖 A Bridgerton tea party for mom 🌸 Happy Early M 🫖 A Bridgerton tea party for mom 🌸

Happy Early Mother’s Day to my mom. We had fun dressing up, eating lots of pastries, sandwiches, and spilling all the tea. If only @yerinha_ could have joined us so she can spill all the tea from the ton and also help us eat all the pastries. I mean, I even made Benophie pie! Haha (banoffee pie) 😊 There’s so much tea to talk about 😎

Thanks mom for always dressing up with us and being in character. It’s always fun doing themed parties with you. And what better place for photos than your beautiful, well-loved Hmong garden? Got them cilantro, green onions, and Hmong medicinal herbs in the background 😉

Wishing all the fantastic, hard working, and loving mothers out there a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. I hope this video inspires you to do a tea party for your mom or share it with someone so they can host a tea party for you 😉💞

Supporting small businesses & HMONG jewelers @bysewpocky and @alyssaecreationsandjewelry ✨ Beautifully well made pieces we wore 🙌 💞

@bridgertonnetflix let me know if you need someone to make pastries or fruit jellies for the next few seasons. I think I might know someone 😎

Always a big thanks to my interior designer sister for making these themed parties come to life and my younger sister for being the best kitchen assistant 💖 The best sisters I could have ever asked for.
