😱 I’ve never seen banana blossoms this giant 😱 I’ve never seen banana blossoms this giant before. We bought two of these from the local market near my grandparents hometown. Took it home & made a very simple buffalo skin banana blossom soup. Served it over some fresh steamed rice and it was the perfect light breakfast. This would have also been great as a pepper dip and or stir fry.

GRATING COCONUT W/ A BOTTLE CAP I was in a hurry GRATING COCONUT W/ A BOTTLE CAP

I was in a hurry to make coconut sesame balls and needed to grate some of the fresh coconuts from my grandparents front yard. My aunty didn’t have a coconut grater so she told me to use a bottle cap. And it worked wonders! 😃 Take a look!

Nyob zoo from Thailand. Take a look as my mom, cou Nyob zoo from Thailand. Take a look as my mom, cousin, and I make a big pot of naab vaam for the family. It was kind of hard to find all the ingredients I needed at the local market near my grandparents house but the naab vaam still came out super delicious. My grandparents loveeed it, they came back for seconds ☺️

Hope you enjoy seeing a little glimpse of us cooking here in Thailand. Stay tuned for more.

Opening these bags are pretty easy once you figure Opening these bags are pretty easy once you figure out how it’s tied. Do you have trouble opening these bags?

Btw, if you’re wondering what I’m eating, my aunty got us some fresh fruit naab vaam. It has yams, honeydew, corn, jelly, palm fruit strips, & basil seeds mixed in with a sweetened coconut & evaporated milk base. Served over ice. It’s super refreshing and actually pretty tasty (although I can do without the corn).
